VC Youth & Children

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives in representing the young members and children in all cultural and technical events, helping them build life skills and develop healthy relationships.

• Organize and manage activities, performances, artists involving the young members and children in various events throughout the fiscal year enhancing member participation and enriching their experiences.

• Work Closely with VC Operations to develop strategies on how to involve the young members and children in the association.

• Develop a vision for youth work, seek finances, promote and develop opportunities for young volunteers.

• Responsible for implementing family/neighborhood events and workshops to mentor and counsel young members and children.

• Be accountable to the EC and general members.

Supporting Role:

• Support VC Cultural Affairs and participate in external events in conjunction with VC Public Relations.

• Collaborate with other ECs in identifying needs and supporting their projects as well as furthering the goals of the association in leadership, service and representation.
