Core Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives on identifying professional development topics central to members’ professions, needs and interests.

• Organize and facilitate a number of professional development events throughout the fiscal year enhancing member knowledge and experience. Invite speakers and subject matter experts as necessary.

• Work Closely with VC Technical Events and VC Operations to develop strategies, form teams and execute events.

• Be accountable to the EC and general members.

 
Supporting Role:

• Support VC Technical Events and participate in external Professional Development events in conjunction with VC Public Relations.

• Collaborate with other ECs in identifying needs and supporting their projects as well as furthering the goals of the association in leadership, service and representation.
