VC Membership
With over 13 years of experience in the energy industry, I am currently a Program Manager at FortisBC, where I launch pilots with innovative technologies. These pilots aim to transform the market by increasing energy efficiency and reducing emissions, while supporting the climate action goals of the province of British Columbia in Canada.
I have a strong background in project management, gas technology, energy management, and energy efficiency, as well as multiple certifications, including PMP, CEM, CMVP, and Lean Sigma Green Belt. I hold an MBA and a Master of Engineering Leadership in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada. I am passionate about fostering the usage of high-efficient equipment and advancing the hydrogen-based economy to ensure a sustainable, net-zero emission future.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives on member recruitment, retention, expansion and participation. Collaborate with other ECs to identify and reach out to potential members.

Work Closely with VC Finance to develop strategies, form teams and delegate tasks to collect membership fees in an efficient and timely manner.

Review and advise on membership fees and member benefits. Work with VC Information & Technology to prepare recruitment forms.

Inform general members, who are yet to pay their membership dues, about the cut-off date of Dec 31. After the cut-off date a member will lose their membership rights. This notice will be provided no less than 1 month in advance.

Be accountable to the EC and general members.
Supporting Role:

Collaborate with other ECs in identifying needs and supporting their projects as well as furthering the goals of the association in leadership, service and representation.
