VC Cultural Affairs
Core Responsibilities:

Uphold Bangladeshi cultural heritage and language within organizational events and activities as applicable. Foster and adopt Canadian workplace culture of inclusion and diversity within community members and be the watch guard for any bias or discrimination.

Engage with members on social media and other platforms, facilitate new member’s introduction to the community.

Organize and manage cultural activities, performances, artists in various events throughout the fiscal year enhancing members’ mental wellbeing and enriching their cultural experiences. Invite performers and speakers as necessary.

Work Closely with VC Operations to develop strategies, form teams and execute events.

Be accountable to the EC and general members.
Supporting Role:

Support VC Youth and Children, VC Social Events/Affairs, VC Community Services and participate in external events in conjunction with VC Public Relations.

Collaborate with other ECs in identifying needs and supporting their projects as well as furthering the goals of the association in leadership, service and representation.
